If you were unlucky and couldn't purchase a ticket for Maisie's upcoming album launch "Florescence" at the O2 arenas, some fans had the good fortune to attend a more intimate show at smaller venues. Here, Maisie performs both new and old songs, along with a special surprise song for each event. Additionally, there's a Q&A session between Maisie Peters and Gretta Ray.
I had the fortunate opportunity to attend the first show in Leeds with some friends, one of two performances that night. Although Maisie was quite talkative during the event, I found it enjoyable. It added a sense of inclusiveness and intimacy to the show, making it feel as though she was genuinely speaking to you. This approach created a closer connection to Maisie, her band, her fans, and the overall experience of the show.
As previously mentioned, Maise and Gretta held a Q&A session midway through their set. This involved questions that fans had written down at the beginning of the show, once again giving fans the opportunity to engage with the performance and ask questions they might have always wanted to ask.
Here are some of the questions and answers:
What is your favourite song of each others and why ?
Maisie " My favourite song of yours would be " Cherish" which is from your first album i mean i love so many of them"
